Arghh...Need yalls input
So, Im selling my trijicon reflex sight. I like the reflex sight, but the dot is to dim for me to use in bright light. Now Im stuck trying to figure out what to replace it with. I want an Eotech XPS, but I cant afford to add cash to what Im getting for my trijicon to get one. So now im looking at other scopes/sights and am starting to question if I want a cheaper red dot or a "long range" scope (like the Leupold AR series). Or should I just wait til I can afford the eotech. I really dont think the Leupold would be a good choice on a 14.5 bbl, but I like the idea of shooting farther than a RDS would take me...Please help me make up my mind.
Take your time and save up for the EO if that is what you really want.
I really like my Eo. I like the reticle. The battery life isn't anywhere near as good as the AP. But I like the Eo Better. I'll probably get an AP for another rifle, just to have it, but I like my 552.
Save your money and get what you really want. Take this time to sharpen your skills with the irons.
RDS takes me to 300 yards with first round hits on a man size target.
if you want something now while you save try the primary arms redots
Id save for what you want. Cheaper in the long run.
I'm in the same boat, and am saving up for the Eotech XPS.
Should I even consider a "powered scope" (leupold ar, etc...) with the 14.5 bbl, or should i wait until my SPR upper is finished, then add glass to that?

ACOGS work well with that setup but are pricey.....
OK, I guess I cant hate you guys for telling me what I need to hear, not what I wanna hear (that I should wait and get the RDS, rather than a cheap glass now). Just sold the trijicon reflex, so I have the first half of the Eotech in my pocket
Buy once cry once, that's my philosophy.......

You have to love having a 8 year battery life.
is that the M2 or ML2, Halo?
