Cut out of work at 11:30am today and stopped by the range on the way home. Dang was it hot. My shirt was soaking wet. It was packed but cleared out by the time I got situated. There was a girl shooting a Dragonov ( probably the Romanian version ). Well I brought the 3 amigos and had some fun. Black Betty ( my QD ) shot great and balanced nicely with the UBR. The Aimpoint was nice. I do however think it has way to much recoil for a rifle length gas system. Heavier buffer?
Run the heaviest buffer that will still allow the rifle to function 100% with the weakest ammo you may run. What do you have in it now?

Chances are that yes it is a regular carbine buffer. It can get expensive buying and trying them all out :lol: Anyone around you have heavier buffers that you could try out?

I dont. It has a rifle length gas sys with UBR stock, YHM Phantom FH, 18" spr barrel. Does that help you with a recomendation?

Might want to try a Spikes ST-T2 Heavy Buffer, if it was too heavy after trying it, should be easy to sell.
