HK 416/MR223 magazines
Hi,

Does any of you have any experience with these mags? They are the most wanted and also the most expensive AR 15 mags here in Finland at the moment. The price is 70-80 euros ($100-120 USD) at the moment and they are sold out.

Are there any MR223/HK STANAG mags in the US?

I am considering them but the price is SO high that thorough thinking must be done before the purchase.

The HK mags are nowhere near worth the cost... They are less reliable than Pmags and rebuild kits are next to impossible to source

Not too mention for the price of one you can pick up 8 Pmags

Before P Mags came out HK mags were my favorite. Mostly due to the increased durability of steel over aluminum. But now P Mags are my favorite.

So instead of HK mags, I should be looking for P Mags.

I agree that since the HK mags doesn't have silver linings and an iPod, they're not worth it :D .

I've got 8 of em myself all FREE. I had a buddy who was in 5th Group for 17 years...... :cool:

Free is FANTASTIC.
I got the two I have when I bought 4 mags on the EE, 2 Pmags the 2 HK mags with the coupler for $50. :grin:

The EE is full of bargains....

There is a Korean company that is making exact copies that function excellently for about $18.00US a pop. Plan on getting some to see how they work.

h&K mags are just like h&k weapons... no better than other big names but cost more cause steel in germany is twice the price it is anywhere else. if you want steel mags go with cproducts steels. same great design without the inflated cost
