it is steel case.......same as Wolf, I've see people reload it before.
Either way, hell of a deal especially locally! TAP Practice ammo if found locally, has been nearly 80 cents a round, even FMJ
That is a good deal. I have shot a bunch of Brown Bear steel cased ammo with no problems. May have to boost my current stock of practice ammo. Don't really need any right now. Wanting to stock up on some good quality 5.56 ammo. :dunno:
I was just checking this deal out, what exactly is the difference in practice ammo vs fmj? Just that it can't be reloaded?

It's still a FMJ projectile, it's just contained in a Steel case instead of brass. Steel is a lot less likely to be able to be reloaded as it's not as elastic as brass, so it has a hard time being resized.
i bought some at an ammo show once. thought i got ripped off

So if I have no desire to reload at this time, it would be an ok choice? Is at corrosive because its steel, or is that only an issue with foreign steel ammo?
Steel ammo is different than steel case. Hornady ammo is non-corrosive.
Cool... Guess I'm gonna place an order this evening then
