Does it have a pressure switch or do you have to actuate it at the light?
They make pressure switches for them, but I just use my thumb.
whats the benefit of having it infront of the sight and not on the side?
Well for someone that uses a grip like mine (or apparently you judging by your pic) it allows ambidextrous use of the light
Also mounting it up top allows you to ensure that your light is clearing cover and doesn't force you expose more of yourself depending on which side your working off of... It also cuts down splashback from cover and minimizes barrel shadow
