Which Aimpoint?
Well since my upper/BCG and what not will be here tomorrow, I have decided I am definitely getting the Magpul MBUS flip ups for my "irons" and probably an Aimpoint for my optic. But I have never seen an Aimpoint and have no idea which one I should get!

CompML3?

Save the $$$ and get the CompM4?

Micro?

Pics (especially line of site with the site on) are appreciated as well as direct feedback. Should I get 2 MOA or 4? Thanks. Oh I could spend $800 to get an ACOG TA31F with red chevron a local guy is selling.

I REALLY like the Micro's... If your not going to run NOD's then the H1 is an awesome optic

For my money there is no real reason to run a M4, it is heavier and does not have much of a battery life advantage over the H1/T1

There honestly isn't much of a difference between the 2 and 4 MOA dots... Most M4 type rifles are shooting around 2-3 MOA and most guys are running 3-6 MOA ammo anyway

If I was buying a new Aimpoint, I'd go with the Comp C3, or if you wanted smaller/lighter the H1.

I might have a Comp ML3 for sale.... I've not yet decided if I want to run a scope with MBUS or use a ML3 w/ Magnifier ... since the 6.8 is my hunting rig (not really sure just yet though...)

But I'd for sure hook you up if you decide on that style optic.

Well I was just playing around on Ebay and made a best offer of $400 on a Comp ML3, and won it. So Comp ML3 it is!

Which mount should I get? I like the ARMS 22M86 look and the American Defense AD-68, just not sure on standard, low, high?

standard = absolute cowitness
high = lower 1/3
low = absolute when mounted on a rail like the ARMS SIR or the Vltor CASV rails.

If you decide on the ARMS 22 M68 with the cantilever, let me know. :wink:
